"Bon Voyage Hymn" All my sorrow, all my sin, One's the thunder, one's the wind Sing a shelter over me It's a mighty chorus sets me free All my teardrops are gonna fall So many stones in Jericho's wall Shallow waters can't compare With a mighty chorus if we dare One hundred singing water glasses O Let us carry out the ashes Darkness weaponizes fear Questions forge into a spear Let us open mouths to speak With a mighty chorus With a mighty chorus With a mighty chorus slaves set free
2.
Bootstraps 03:28
"Bootstraps" I load a cannon, I want it. I carry a candle, I need it. I do it again, I do it again. I tell myself I want it, I tell myself I need it. And every time I get it, this is how I'm wound up. I drank alone for a fortnight, a yellow year by dim light. "I'm Born again!" Brand new jeans down to cut-offs, and cigarettes on rooftops, chain it up. Chain it up. I tell myself I want it, I tell myself I need it. Every time I get it this is how I'm wound up. Play it loud. Play it loud, get it on. (...pulling on the bootstraps). Be long, be long. Don't be long. Till kingdom come get a buzz on, singing in tongues speaking in tongues! I tell myself I want it, I tell myself I need it. Every time I get it this is how I'm wound up.
3.
"Friendly Fire" It's in our bones, cold and weary. Forty degrees heavy raining. How I'd love to see you smiling, to feel your warmth again. We've been up nights with no comfort, no good advice. What should we do? What we're bleeding for is true love, but what we got here is this love. Your body hurts. I'm dressed up like a stooge. When nothing works, it's time to choose. Nevermind a little broke back, how we gonna get our joy back? We cannot quit. We cannot seek escape. Cope or break. I need a friendly face singing in my choir. I need a taste of friendly fire. Could this be what these broad shoulders are for, to carry more? I need a taste of friendly fire. I need an answer from the choir. We cannot quit. We cannot seek escape. Cope or break.
4.
"All Around Your Name" Come heaven, come on to me. My body is shuddering, and where's the courage I should bring? It''s all around you. All around you, all around your name. The carnivores have no gun. The sun is rising on the plums. Unanimous, the time has come. It's all around you, all around your name. Dipping in a deeper lake. Letting go of The Campaign. Now alone these three remain. They're all around you, all around your name. All around you, all around your name.
5.
Company 04:02
"Company" I don't mind the pain and trouble. I don't feel the work no more, Darling, won't you be my company? I don't have be your daddy, I don't want to be your dog. I just want to be your company. I don't have to tell you nothing, I don't want to change your mind. I just want to be your company. I don't aim to steal your passion, I'm just gonna calm you down. I'm just gonna be your company. Even if we had a difference, I know you would wear it well. Darling, won't you be my enemy? I'll walk out and you'll start yelling. Later we'll be back in bed. Darling, I wanna be what you need. I will make good. I will give blood, swing hard, swing fast at last.
6.
"Do You Feel It" Do you feel it? Is it circumstance? The more I love you, the more I take the chance. Every failure serious at a glance. The more I love you, walking out a branch. Break into a chorus, maybe a saving melody. O, you're on the line now. And I'm on the line, tapping my feet. Do you feel it? Is it circumstance? The more I love you, walking out a branch. We're waiting around to fall..and so worried about it all. But we warm our feet, hand in hand. And we carry it all hand in hand. Do you feel it? Is it circumstance? The more I love you, the more I take the chance. Every failure serious at a glance. The more I love you, walking out a branch.
7.
Up In Smoke 04:23
"Up In Smoke" It's a sign, a crooked stair, a burning sign, a wooden stone. Jesus knows, what we find cannot be told. Call it on like a dare. Just decide we won't let go. Jesus knows, what goes bang goes up in smoke. All the time we keep carrying the bang. One at a time we shudder and blink at the cost. The "end of time", the "love of christ" (it gives some peace to draw the line), Nothing real or understood could feel so good. All the time we keep carrying the bang. One at a time we stutter and blink at the cost.
8.
Hook 03:50
"Hook" God bless the day we carved in stone, "Now that I'm here you'll never be alone." But I had a crack in that bone, now even if I try to laugh I feel the hook. Such a chore to be depressed, and it's hard to wiggle out of that dress. "I hate my life", she says., and "Sorry, sorry!" only gets me up on the hook. I'm gonna build a big boat. I can do whatever you can do. When I send the perfect note, I might be angry but I'll have my hand on the hook. Let go. Let go. Let go. You can't control what you can't control.
9.
"It All Comes Right" O, I'm coming home to you, it's killing me killing time. With everything I've had to say goodbye to, I've filled up hands but emptied mine. They say, "It's all right, it all comes right." They say it all the time, but there's a feeling I can't seem to choke down. The thing about a house is that the lights burn out always at the wrong time. He used to see a strong and handsome man, now he's just doing the best he can. They say, "It's all right, it all comes right." They say it all the time, but there's a feeling I can't seem to choke down, how will we ever do without Honey, make me a promise, the kind that holds true. You carry the ark and I'll carry you.
